Prayer...

 Prayer is an important part of a Christians daily walk with God... When there are troubling times we turn to prayer. But it is all essential for us to pray in those good times in between. God blesses us constantly and we should thank him through prayer.
There is no bad time to pray. It is a direct conection to God and we are encouraged to use it to reach him. Prayer helps strengthen and guide us. It is a powerful spiritual weapon against the evil in the world. P.U.S.H.~ Pray Until Something Happens

Also on the subject of prayer, my Pastor has been teaching a series on Sunday Nights dealing with prayer. We have been looking at diferent and important prayers all throughout the Old and New Testament. Through this study we have learned that our prayers can actually affect the outcome of events, so it is never useless to pray. When Moses prayed to God after receiving the Ten Commandments he quoted scripture and in a way changed God's mind from destroying the people. If we continuously pray for certain people or situations we will in time see an outcome, and God hears our prayers and we may influence how things work out. Not only can our prayers positively affect someone else praying also helps us to grow closer to God. So prayer is a win win situation for us and those around us...prayer can only strengthen our walk with God daily.

A prayer to the Lord!

         Lord I pray that you break my heart for what breaks yours!

         Lord Jesus though I am not perfect I am forgiven, I thank you for that and know that through you I would be nothing. I pray that you give me words of wisdom as I walk through life and a peace and understanding strait from you. I want to live my life as an example of your great love. Please God watch over those that you have brought into my life and help me to make a difference each and every day in someone else live whether it be big or small. Thank you God and I love you... watch over me this week and all my life, help me to stay in your love and mercy all the days of my life!

Pray before you leap!

Have you ever noticed how we tend to leap into a situation without careful thought and consideration? No prayer or hesitation?

Then what will happen when you realize this wasn't right, many long nights. No now you find yourself wanting to leap out but now you have no help. You begin to pray for a way out... and you realize one continuous thing, you can do nothing without God himself.

So from now on when you begin to leap, you stop yourself and say remember last time pray first leap after.
