Cross at Calvary

What is it that represents so much for so many?

What changed so many lives like dark to light?

What showed the world truth and power?

Why is the place of the skull known?

Where was holy blood shed for others?

Where was unfailing love poured out?

What could a simple tree become?

What do three simple nails have in common?

Where was a sign hung above?

Why do we have hope and salvation?

How can we have unwavering faith?

One word answers all of these and forever will it stand

…the Cross at Calvary.

Reaching this Generation..a combination of info I have found on line.

I found this on a website when I was doing some outreach research...check it out..
"What would happen if all of our 1450+ churches in the Arkansas Baptist State Convention would pray for the lost generation of children and students in our communities? There would be a movement of God where we would see many children and youth begin a r...elationship with Jesus Christ."
Now I challenge you to replace the amount of Churches above in that area with all the churches in your home-town area! Who;s willing to do that. To pray for the lost and we will see our churches flooded with teens and children willing and eger to hear the words of God! This also requires us praying for the teens and children alreay in our churches still learning!!
"Whoever wants this generation the most, gets them. Christ-followers must take personal responsibility for sharing with this generation across the street, around the block, at the ball park, to their friends, coworkers, and family if they are to fulfill the Great Commission."
~Don't give up even if stressed or annoyed with different  Teenagers and Children. We may be the only way they ever hear the word. So Now Go Out and Get This Generation for Christ!
In order for children and youth to be mobilized for a lifetime of effective service in the Kingdom, we must make sure they have a strong foundation in the faith/
~If we want to teach the upcoming generation to be able to teach others after them they have to have a foundation. If we do not provide and teach them with the foundations then we can not expect them to be affective in this world. So when we want to take back this generation we need to be willing and put our all and full dedication into it.

Easter...all that it truly means...still the same today!!

On this amazing Easter Sunday this song speaks about the amazing GRACE that we have received from God! Jesus Christ has risen from the dead and He is alive today watching over each and everyone of us! All that He suffered through all those years ago He could have just said no, He had the power to end it all but He went through all of it to save EACH AND EVERY PERSON!! He hung on that cross to save us, from all the wrong we have done and all the wrong we will do. There is not another person in all of history or ever will be who was perfect and faultless like Jesus Christ. Yet the world He came to save put Him to death...and He beat Death!!!

Jesus lives today and He waits for us for the day that we will join Him in Eternity and see the mansions he has prepared for us.  See the Streets of Gold and the Crystal Sea...all those believers who have gone on before us. But above all we will see Jesus Christ and the nail scared hands and feet and the pierced side. We will see our Lord and Savior.

All that was done all those years ago may seem to us that it has nothing to do with us. But it has EVERYTHING to do with us. Jesus knew that YOU (yes you) would need His grace and mercy! So God sent His Son to Earth to save YOU.

Rejoice on the Easter Sunday in knowing that you are saved by Grace through the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Know that you are a new creation in Him. And know that The Story and Message are still the same and that CHRIST JESUS is alive today!!!!

People....where is this country going without God??

I don't get people sometimes. They don't acknowledge God and they hinder others from learnign about God. I mean when one person does one thing wrong why does it equal everyone being punished? Why do parents take away a place (like church)  that will only better thier children? Is there no fear of God in this world anymore? The Parents will answer for the way they raised their children and the examples they led by. The Bible tells us to lead by example. Do these type of parents not understand the meaning behind that?

When a young girl talks to you and doesn't quite understand what is going on in her family...and you can't help. The parents need to stand up and find God and lead their children in that direction. What is this country going to end up as if parents do not teach their children about God? If the parents have rejected God do not hinder the children from learning about God and serving Him. Where will this country be without God and Christian morals enstilled in the children?

The people who are hindering the children from learning about God and all that Jesus did for us do not understand the long lasting result. At one point those children who do not know Biblical principles will be the adults. They will be in charge of different things and they will then be setting the example for younger generations.

There is a battle raging for the hearts and minds of the children and teens in This country of America!! If the parents and house holds will not stand up and do what they have been entrusted to do by God....then we as Churches, Christian Schools, and Followers of Christ must stand up and take action. If we all stand by and wait for something to happen we are aiding the enemy and letting the future of our Counry turn to people who do not know God or His Word.

As long as I am breathing and alive I will always minister to people in these situations. I will ensure that my churches doors always remain open to all kinds of people. That I am willing to help, accepting, and loving! This country and this generation needs God!! It is time for us to stand up and affect the children and teens...and by reaching them with the word of God affecting the houses they come from. It is now time for a revival...who is with me??

You are....

There is no way of telling how many people will read this...but I hope someone out there who may come across this realizes something:

No matter what you go through it's not uncommon...we are all human... not perfect, we make mistakes, and have struggles.
What makes you different isn't strange or wrong....it's what is equipping you to accomplish what you are suppose to do in your life.

You may sometimes feel alone, lost, unloved, ugly, useless but when you get to a point where you no longer care and you're just done... these things are All lies!
Because you are never alone, you can easily be found, you are loved to death, you are beautiful specially designed, you have a purpose and a future..... and it is all because...

Of this person I call my friend and Father......Jesus.... do you know Him? He knows you, and He wants for you to get to know Him to?

He sees your outer and inner beauty, He is always with you, He saves you from your sins, He knows the plans He has for you...... and most importantly He loved you sooo much He died for you... and now He is alive again waiting to welcome you to His kingdom.

Life:

Life:
There's not a lot you can control that happens to you.
Sometimes it seems too many things are thrown at you.
At moments it seems that nothing will work out for you.
Maybe at times you will decide some stuff is just not for you.
Life can be unpredictable about the outcomes that affect you.
But there is one thing that will never change...
It will never be unpredictable...
The same today as yesterday and the future
The only thing in life that you can always count on....
Is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ!
